Sunbus school services resuming Monday 20 April 2020
With school resuming on Monday 20 April 2020, Sunbus is advising parents that all school bus services will resume as per normal with the exception of some grammar schools.  If your child goes to a grammar school, please contact the school directly to know if the bus service is operating.

Bus boon for Townsville commuters as new fleet arrives

Adult and concession fares will increase by 1.9 per cent, in line with the applicable Consumer Price Index (CPI) rate. New Townsville and Magnetic Island services and timetables

Magnetic Island – 250 route and timetable

The Magnetic Island Route 250 bus timetable and map can be found here.  Since the reopening of the Elena St bridge, services have been diverted through Elena St.  Sunbus will revert back to the official timetable and routes on March 18.  To avoid any immediate inconvenience to passengers, the Elena St diversion will remain in place until this date.   Sunbus General Manager Daniel Palmer will also visit Elena St to discuss the route with passengers.

Prepare for your journey back to school
With school resuming on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, students are urged to prepare for their journey to and from school.  Students using dedicated school bus services are advised to familiarise themselves with their school bus number and bus times.  Students and parents should also ensure students have a valid bus pass for travel.
