Due to the construction of footpaths along Walker Street and Stanley Street in Townsville CBD, from Monday, March 27, 2017 Stanley Street bus stops will be temporarily relocated for services travelling in both directions.
Inbound - the Stanley Street bus stop (in front of Queensland Police Station) will be relocated adjacent to NAB on Stanley St and Flinders Street.
Outbound - the Stanley Street bus stop will be relocated to Flinder Street (in front of Powerhouse).
The work is due to be completed by Thursday, April 13, 2017.
Tuesday, March 28 - All Sunbus Townsville bus services will operate as per normal from 7pm.

Sunbus Townsville will not operate school bus services on Monday, March 27 or Tuesday, March 28.
The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) and the Department of Education Queensland have advised Sunbus Townsville that all Townsville schools will be closed on Monday, March 27 and Tuesday, March 28 due to Cyclone Debbie approaching.

From Monday, March 20, 2017 the Sunbus Cairns service Route 131 - Cairns Central to Raintrees Shopping Centre will resume its normal route via Collins Avenue.

From Monday, March 13, 2017 to Thursday, March 16, 2017, there will be a deviation to the Route 406 bus service travelling in both directions.
The northbound service will travel via Sheppard Street, Rockonia Road, Thozet Road, Lakes Creek Road and Water Street. The southbound service will follow the same path, however if using the stops at Rigarisford Park and Bill Crane Park it is advisable to make your way up to Elphinstone Street near Dean Street.
Sunbus Cairns will operate a reduced timetable this Friday, March 3 due to bus drivers taking protected industrial action from 10am to 2pm.
